MCO Generator

MCO Request Form Generator                                                                     Version 1.5

To help Texas Community Centers optimize the process of creating the Service Request Form required to send to Medicaid Managed Care payers, Tejas developed the MCO Request Form Generator. The Generator monitors your EHR system to create the SRF when the following conditions exist:

  • A new CANS/ANSA is completed for a client
  • Client becomes eligible for a new MCO
  • Retroactive eligibility is entered for the client, even if the eligibility period has expired and/or the TRR authorization period has expired.

Once a SRF has been created, the Generator can work with a variety of electronic fax systems, online or, on premise to send the SRF to the appropriate managed care organization.

No hard-copies of the forms are stored, but a form can be re-generated at any time. By default, the form will look just like the day it was originally generated, or the form can be updated with the latest information.

When the MCO sends back a confirmation or denial letter, this system can also track which SRF forms have received a confirmation or denial.
